Tuesday Announcements

CLUBS
HOSA

The HOSA T-shirt/sweatshirt order form is on Mrs. Sloan's door, 520E. Deadline to sign up and pay for shirts is November 9th. You must pay when you place your order. No items will be ordered without payment.   


FFA FOOD DRIVE
The FFA Food Drive continues through Friday. Nonperishable items and cans will be collected in your 4th period class. The 4th period class that collects the most cans will receive Krispy Kreme donuts!

JR. CIVITAN
The next Junior Civitan meeting will be this Thursday morning, October 26th at 7:50am in 604G. Members who have yet to turn in application forms or dues, please take care of that this week.

TRANSPORTATION FIELD TRIP
Anyone that signed up for the October 25th field trip with Senter must come by and pick up a field trip medical form in 519E. You cannot travel without a signed form!!!!

DMV
The Fall Session of Driver Education will start on Monday, November 6th at 3:30 in the library. You must be 14 1/2 years old before November 14th in order to take the class. (11-6)

SPORTS
CHEERLEADING
Basketball cheer tryouts will be held on Monday, October 30th. You will need a valid physical and signed concussion form before you may participate.  Meet in the lobby of A building at 3:30 on Monday, October 30th. (10-26)

WRESTLING
Anyone interested in wrestling this year will need to meet after school tomorrow in the training room for the Hydration test.  Please begin drinking extra water now.  You must pass this test in order to start practice on Monday, October 30th.  The last two open mats will be held tonight and Thursday at 7 pm.

BASKETBALL
There will be a mandatory parent meeting on Thursday, October 26th beginning at 6:30 in the gym for all athletes who will be trying out for basketball. If you are unable to attend, please see Coach Christopherson ahead of time.

WOMEN'S TENNIS
Congratulations to the women's tennis team on a successful 2017 season. The team finished 2nd in conference and made the playoffs for the first time since 2003. Alyssa Southern and Megan Smith were All-Conference and finished in the Top 8 of the Midwest Regional Doubles Tournament. Stephanie Swain, Lindsay Ray, and Rachel Dixon were All-Conference Honorable Mention. Congratulations to all of the ladies on a great season!

SENIORS
Seniors who have not been measured for your cap and gown come by Mr. Hutchens Room, 513E by Friday.

MUSIC
FALL CHORUS CONCERT
Forbush High School will host a Fall Chorus Concert tonight at 7pm in the Auditorium.
