Tuesday Announcements

CLUBS
ART CLUB
The Art Club will meet Wednesday morning October 4th at 7:45 in the art room 701H.

NHS
All Current National Honor Society Members need to meet in Mrs. Roberts room, 706H at 7:40am this Thursday, October 5th. Please be on time!

YEARBOOK
Yearbooks will go on 
​SALE 
this week in the lobby of A building during lunches. Yearbooks are $60. You may put down a deposit of $25 to reserve your copy.  We sold out of books last year, so don't wait to buy yours!

HOMECOMING
Homecoming Dance Tickets will be on sale during lunches until Friday, October 6th. Tickets are $5. Outside guest forms are available in the office or in 703H.  You must pay your fees before you can receive your ticket! Please return outside guest forms by October 13th to Senora! The Dance will be held on Saturday, October 21st from 7-10pm.

The Homecoming Voting Link is up and running, students will have a chance to vote for the four ladies who will represent their class on the homecoming court. Voting will end Wednesday at 1:30, any votes after that will be thrown out. Each student has received an email with his/her class ballot. The ballot is set up so they pick 4 ladies.  

CHOIR 
Brady Miller has been selected to sing in the North Carolina Honors Chorus on November 11thOver 900 students from 90 different schools across the state of North Carolina auditioned for this prestigious choir and only 173 were chosen this year. This is a very high honor for any high school choral student. Congratulations Brady!

GUIDANCE
SENIORS
Mark Your Calendars!  Financial Aid Workshop is tonight October 3rd at 6pm in the Auditorium. Learn how to apply for college money.  If you are planning to attend college next year and need money to help pay for college, then you need to attend this workshop. Learn how to apply for Financial Aid and Scholarships. Parents and students are encouraged to attend together. See Ms. Mitze in Guidance with questions. (10-3)

SOPHOMORES
Sophomores -- considering NC School of Math and Science??  If you are a sophomore who is strong in math and science and would like to learn more about this challenging & exciting program, plan to attend Oct 19th NCSSM Information session with Andrew Huggins from NCSSM.  Sign up in school counseling office by October 16th if you would like to attend.  See Ms Mitze or Mrs. Whitley in the Guidance Department with questions.  (10-16)

BUSH BASH
The 6th Annual Clash at the Bash is October 20th and we need you to participate. You can help your class win by signing up for several events. Look for signup sheets on the gym doors at lunch today. The winning class of The Clash at the Bash will receive FREE biscuits on October 27th.
If you would like to participate in a Lip sync Battle during Bush Bash on Friday, November 20th, please sign up on Mrs. Roberts Bulletin Board at 706H.
