FCCLA 

FCCLA is raising money for the Yadkin County Animal Shelter again this year.  Collection bottles are in your first period classroom so that everyone can donate loose change. Bottles will be collected Friday, November 3rd, the first period that raises the most money will win Bojangles biscuits! Please help our four legged friends and bring in your loose change!

A Student Performance will be presented on November 16^th during first period. We have limited tickets for this performance and tickets will go on sale during lunches the week of November 6^th. Tickets for the student performance are $5 each. You must have your first period teacher's permission to attend the student performance.

We have two public performances scheduled for November 17^th and 18^th at 7:00 pm. Tickets are $10 per person and children under five are FREE!

Students FHS has a zero tolerance for spinning tires in the school's parking lots. It is considered careless and reckless driving which is a class 2 misdemeanor.  

You can either be issued a citation or worse, arrested.  Again, safety first, no more spinning tires!

WOMEN'S TENNIS

Congratulations to the women's tennis team on a successful 2017 season. The team finished 2nd in conference and made the playoffs for the first time since 2003. Alyssa Southern and Megan Smith were All-Conference and finished in the Top 8 of the Midwest Regional Doubles Tournament. Stephanie Swain, Lindsay Ray, and Rachel Dixon were All-Conference Honorable Mention. Congratulations to all of the ladies on a great season!
