UNC Splash is November 12th!
Visit UNC-Chapel Hill's campus to take a variety of interesting and
fun classes taught by Carolina students. UNC is offering over 120
classes with topics that range from college admissions, to
self-defense, to zombies, to DNA, and beyond. The program is Saturday,
November 12th from 9:30am to 5pm. Create your own schedule to maximize
your learning! Registration closes on November 5th, so don't delay! To

PSAT
All 10th and 11th graders
Sign-ups for PSAT end today Wednesday, October 12th.
The cost is $15.

FCCLA
FCCLA is sponsoring a Donation Drive for the Yadkin County Animal
Shelter through Thursday, October 13th. We are collecting money
during first period to buy food and supplies for the Yadkin County
Animal Shelter. The first period that raises the most money will
receive Bojangles' Biscuits during first period on Friday, October
14th! Thank you for supporting our local Animal Shelter.
DECA
DECA will meet after school in Mrs. Pardue's room today, October 12th.
All members should make plans to attend.
FCA
All students are invited by the Fellowship of Christian Athletes to a
concert tonight at 7:00 pm in the football stadium. Come and enjoy.
JR. CIVITAN
Any Junior Civitan member wanting to help sell Marshall wristbands
this week and next week during lunches, see Coach Vestal to sign-up
today.
COMMUNITY SERVICE
Any student in need of volunteer service hours please stop by Mrs.
Davis' room, 407D to sign up. Upcoming events are Fun Run at Forbush
Elementary this Friday, BBQ Chicken at Yadkinville Elementary this
Friday, and Yadtel.
BASKETBALL
The men's basketball program will have open gym today at 7:00.
UNDERCLASSMEN PICTURE MAKEUP DAY
Tomorrow, Thursday, October 13th will be picture retakes in the
auditorium starting at 10:00. Picture forms are in the office. If you
have not received your pictures from the September 8th sitting please
go by the auditorium and speak with a Life Touch representative
tomorrow morning.
BAND FESTIVAL
The annual Forbush Festival of Marching Bands, is scheduled for
Saturday, October 15th, in the stadium beginning at 10am. Come on out
and support some wonderful bands from across our region.
BAND CONCERT
The Fall Band Concert is Monday, October 17th.
The concert 7-8 pm in the gym.
