FCCLA
FCCLA is sponsoring a Donation Drive for the Yadkin County Animal
Shelter through Thursday, October 13th. We are collecting money
during first period to buy food and supplies for the Yadkin County
Animal Shelter. The first period that raises the most money will
receive Bojangles' Biscuits during first period on Friday, October
14th! Thank you for supporting our local Animal Shelter.
JR. CIVITAN
Any Junior Civitan member wanting to help sell Marshall wristbands
this week and next week during lunches, see Coach Vestal to sign-up
today.
DECA
Any DECA member that was unable to attend the meeting yesterday,
should come see Mrs Pardue to sign up for District competition and get
the meeting notes.
COMMUNITY SERVICE
Any student in need of volunteer service hours please stop by Mrs.
Davis' room, 407D to sign up. Upcoming events are Fun Run at Forbush
Elementary this Friday, BBQ Chicken at Yadkinville Elementary this
Friday, and Yadtel.
BASEBALL
Anyone interested in trying out for baseball needs to meet for a brief
meeting in the Media Center at 1st break on FRIDAY.
Anyone who can not attend, please see Coach Moss on Monday.
BAND FESTIVAL
The annual Forbush Festival of Marching Bands, is scheduled for
Saturday, October 15th, in the stadium beginning at 10am. Come on out
and support some wonderful bands from across our region.
BAND CONCERT
The Fall Band Concert is Monday, October 17th. The concert 7-8 pm in the gym.
MARSHAL DAY
Tuesday, November 1st will be Marshall Baker Day- please wear your t-shirts!
If you would like to purchase one, see Señora Helton in 703H. Shirts are $10.
November 1st at 7:00 pm we will have a POWDER PUFF FOOTBALL GAME with
all proceeds going to Marshall Baker!
Admission will be $3.
