Tuesday Announcements

PSAT
Attention all 10th and 11th graders: Sign-ups for PSAT
​will ​
run through October 7th, the cost is $15. Please see Mrs. Monroe in guidance to sign up. LIMITED NUMBER OF SPOTS available.

The PSAT will take place on October 19th during school.
Over 3.5 million high school students take the National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test, also known as the PSAT each year. This test helps you prepare for the SAT while determining your eligibility for a National Merit Scholarship.

FCCLA
Attention all FCCLA members: Butterbraid money and order forms are due to Mrs. Saddler or Mrs. Sizemore tomorrow Wednesday, September the 14th. There will be an FCCLA meeting after school on Thursday in Mrs. Saddler's room

FALL BLOOD DRIVE
Our Fall Blood Drive will be Friday, September 30th. The blood drive will be held in honor of Marshall Baker. Students 16 years of age will need a parental consent to donate. All donors will need a photo ID.  Students will be available during lunches for you to sign up to donate or you may see Mrs Sloan.
Any HOSA student willing to work the blood drive or help with donor sign ups during a lunch should see Mrs Sloan in room 520E.

JUNIOR CIVITANS
Are you interested in community service? Come to the first Junior Civitan meeting of the year to find out how you can serve those around you. Our meeting will take place this Thursday, September 15th at 7:35am in Coach Vestal's room, 604G.

HOMECOMING MEETING
There will be a short meeting for all homecoming nominees tomorrow, Wednesday, September, 14th during morning break in 703H, Señora Helton's room.

T-SHIRTS for MARSHALL BAKER
Today it the last day to purchase a Marshall Baker t-shirt in the lobby of A building during all lunches. Shirts are $10 each and all proceeds go to Marshall and his family.

ALUMNI NIGHT
Forbush High School  will celebrate it's 50th Year this Friday night, September the 16th!  
All former FHS Faculty and Students are invited for Alumni Night.
Festivities begin in the courtyard at 6:00 pm. with a hot dog supper.
Buildings will be open for a stroll down memory lane.
Please spread the word to your parents and grandparents.
Let's make this a special night to celebrate our school and it's roll in our community thorough out its 50 years!
