DECA
DECA will meet in Mrs. Pardue's room 303C Wednesday, September 7th
after school. All students interested in joining, or finding out more
about what DECA is should plan to attend.
SURRY
September 13th this Surry Community College's "College Fair".
Bus leaves at 8:15 am and returns by 2:30 pm to Forbush.
Juniors & Seniors may sign up to attend. Space is limited.
Permission forms available in school counselor office.
Permission forms deadline is September 9th.
PICTURE DAY
Underclassmen picture day is this Thursday, September the 8th.
Students will be called by homerooms throughout the morning. Please
bring cash and your order form with you and give to the photographer.
If you need a picture form stop by the office.
BASEBALL
If you are interested in playing baseball this year, come by room 408D
and see Coach Moss with your contact information and to receive
information on workouts and field workdays.
BASKETBALL
If you are planning on trying out for basketball this season, you need
to go by and see Coach Christopherson in room 404D .
RACEMORE
Those wishing to compete in the Racemore for Macemore race on
September 17th need to sign up with Coach Davis in room 516E.
Marshall Baker will be honored at the event. Sign up by September 11th
to support Marshall Baker and to help us beat Starmount!
SENIOR T-SHIRTS
Senior T-shirts with class member signatures are on sale through
September 9. Please return your order envelope to Room 513E. Extra
envelopes are available in the main office.
T-SHIRT CONTEST
Do you have a great idea for the 50th anniversary Homecoming t-shirt?
Homecoming is October 7th against the South Stokes Sauras. Submit
your design to Señora Helton in room 703H. Designs are due on Tuesday,
September 6th. The winner will receive a free shirt and free
admission to the Homecoming game!! Good luck!
THEATER
The Theater Department will have a Drama Club Meeting this Thursday,
September 8th at 3:10. All students are invited to attend. You do not
need to be in Mrs. Campbell's classes this semester to attend.
ATTENTION STUDENTS
Any forms that students should have given to their homeroom teacher
should be given to Mrs. Gentry in the office today.
