Friday Announcements

CLUBS
FFA
FFA is selling cookie dough. One tub makes 40 cookies and costs $20.00. 
See an FFA member or Mrs. Jensen room 518E for more details.

FCCLA
All Butterbraid forms and money must be turned into Mrs. Saddler by Wednesday September 27th!

SKILLS

Skills members that are planning on traveling to the Fair on October 2nd must come by to see Mr. Senter in room 519E and sign up by Thursday, September 28th. We will have a meeting for all Skills (State and Local) members on that Thursday at 7:40. If you do not attend the meeting, you cannot go to the Fair. (10-27)


TRANSPORTATION FIELD TRIP

If you are interested in a job or degree in Transportation please drop by and see Mr. Senter in 519E before October 20th. (Transportation includes Truck Driver, Auto Technician, Diesel Mechanic, Parts Sales, Insurance Adjuster, etc.) We have space for 50 students to travel to Colfax on October 25th for a plant tour and college presentation. Lunch will be provided. Come soon before all slots are filled. (10-19)


GUIDANCE
SOPHOMORES AND JUNIORS
PSAT sign-ups  have been EXTENDED to Friday, 
October 3rd.
Sign ups will continue between 
8:30

and 1:30 in the Guidance Department.
A limited number of spots are available. 
The PSAT will be given on Saturday, October 14th at 8am.  (10-3)

JUNIORS AND SENIORS

Interested in College Classes in the spring?

Registration for spring classes begins in October. 

To start the process, first complete a Career & College Promise application.  

Pick up application from Ms Mitze.

Next, see Mrs. Pennix in Room 600G on Tuesdays from 9:00am-1:30pm.

Don't delay, pick up an application and start the process today!  


SENIORS

Mark Your Calendars!  Financial Aid Workshop is October 3rd at 6pm in Auditorium.  Learn how to apply for college money.  If you are planning to attend college next year and need money to help pay for college, then you need to attend this workshop.

Learn how to apply for Financial Aid and Scholarships.

Parents and students are encourage to attend together

COMMUNITY
FALL BLOOD DRIVE
Our Fall Blood Drive will be Friday, September 29th. 
Students will be available during some lunches for you to sign up to donate or see Mrs. Sloan in room 520E. 
Donors who are 16 years old will need parental consent. 
All donors will need a photo ID. (10-28)
