CLUBS
FFA

FFA will meet in Mr. Elliot's room tomorrow morning at 7:45 in 518E. We will have FFA events and happenings for summer and early fall. Biscuits provided.

HOSA 5/4
If you are interested in being a HOSA officer for next year applications are available from Mrs. Sloan or posted on Mrs. Sloan's teacher website. Applications are due Friday May 4th.

TRIVIA CLUB

SPORTS
​CROSS COUNTRY

Anyone interested in running Cross Country next fall, please pick up a paper at 607G.

TRACK
Congratulations to the men's and women's track teams for their performances at the conference track meet. The men finished second and the women finished first. There were numerous conference champions and Dakota Mendenhall was named men's player of the year.

EVENTS
FTCC 5/3

Forsyth Technical Community College admission representative Eddie Waddell will be at Forbush High School on May 3rd from 11:10–1:30 in the A building lobby. He is available to talk with any students interested in attending FTCC.  Any senior who has applied to FTCC, needs to talk to Mr. Waddell on May 3rd.  He will assist with any questions you may have.

AWARDS DAY 5/4
Seniors, this Friday, May 4th is our Forbush High School Awards Day program. Seniors who have communicated with Ms. Mitze about their achievements will be recognized. Accomplishments that will be recognized include scholarships, college admission, skills awards, 200+ volunteer hours, and military enlistment. Parents & guests are welcome to attend. All parents and guests are asked to arrive by 1pm to be seated prior to senior procession.    

JUNIOR COLLEGE NIGHT 5/6
Class of 2019 - Junior Parent Night is May 10th at 6:00pm in the auditorium.  It is time to start planning for college. Come learn and review questions about the college process, ACT & SAT college testing, tools to find college money, applying for financial aid, what to put on your resume, recommendations, and more! See Ms Mitze with questions.

CREDIT RECOVERY
Students, if you are interested in summer school opportunities through the Yadkin Virtual Academy or for Credit Recovery, please pick up an application in the front office. We have a limited number of spots, so please complete an application and return it to the office as soon as possible.
