Tuesday Announcements

CLUBS
FCCA 
FCCLA will be selling Valentine Cupcake Grams this week during all lunches in the lobby of A Building. Cupcakes are $1.00 and will be delivered on February 14th during 4th period. See Mrs. Saddler room 305C with any

HOSA
HOSA's Band-Aids for Brenner's Drive is now underway! We are collecting new, unopened boxes, of character and colorful Band-Aid's.  The 1st period class with the most boxes of Band-Aids will receive breakfast. The collection will run Monday February 5th – Friday February 16th.  The winner will be announced the following week after the collection ends.

SKILLS
The deadline to Register for Skills Regional Competition is tomorrow Wednesday, February 7th. Come by Senter's room at 519E to register ASAP for the Skills Regional Competition. 

JR. CIVITAN
The next Junior Civitan meeting will be this Thursday, February 8th at 7:50am in 604G. All members please plan to attend!

GUIDANCE
JUNIORS
Forbush High School invites all juniors and their parents to attend Junior Parent Info Session "Count Down to Senior Year" Thursday, February 8th at 6:00pm in B-Bldg.  It is never too early to start asking questions to learn about the college process, ACT & SAT College testing, tools to find college money, resume writing, recommendations, and more! Meeting for juniors

& their parents, but other students & parents are welcome to attend.  Contact Ms. Mitze with any questions.

MUSIC
​CHORUS
Our Spring Chorus Concert is scheduled for Thursday, February 22nd beginning at 7:00pm in the Forbush Auditorium.

YEARBOOK
Yearbooks are on sale starting today in the lobby of A building during lunches. This is the LAST in house sale for yearbooks. Make sure to reserve your copy this week. You are NOT guaranteed to receive a yearbook if you wait until they come out in the spring. Yearbooks are now $70 and you may put down a deposit of $25. You can also use this time to finish paying the remaining balance on a book if you pre-odered in the fall. See Ms. McCollum in 233B if you have any questions. 

SPORTS
Congratulations to men's and women's swim teams for their performances this past weekend at Regionals.
For the men's team, Tyler Sprague finished 23rd in the 200 Free, and Hunter Kepley finished 17th in the 200 IM and 20th in the 100 Butterfly.
For the women's team, the 200 Medley Relay of Gina Myers, Suzie Beamguard, Emily Post, and Lauren Holowiti finished 12th and the 400 Free Relay of the same members finished 12th. Both relays will move on to State Finals.
Suzie Beamguard finished 15th in the 500 Free and 20th in the 200 Free.
Gina Myers finished finished 9th in the 200 Free and 7th in the 500 Free. She will move on to States in both events. 
The women's team finished 13th overall.
Please wish the women's team good luck as they move on to State Finals this Friday in Cary!

REMINDER
Students please enjoy your breakfast and or lunch in the cafeteria or court yard. Please throw away your trash and "Thank You" for helping to keep our campus clean.
