FFA

is National FFA week!
Show your support for you

local FFA chapter by joining in our Spirit Week.
Tuesday- Wear Blue and Gold.
Wednesday is drive your tractor to school.
On Wednesday we will be having a Corn Hole Tournament during each lunch the winner of each game will win a FFA t-shirt!
Thursday- Seniors/Juniors dress as Ranchers and Freshman/Sophomores dress as Farmers.
Friday is wear your FFA jacket.
There will be a FFA Chapter meeting

this Friday Feb 23rd at 7:40. We will be providing biscuits for the members, please try and attend we will be going over important upcoming events.

Our Spring Chorus Concert is scheduled for this Thursday, February 22nd. This event will begin at 7pm in the Forbush Auditorium and we hope to see you there!

ompetition has been chosen as a state finalist by the North Carolina Reading Association. She will now go on to compete at the state level in March. Congratulations Alma and best of luck at the state competition!

Congratulations to our Forbush wrestlers for their performances in the Regional tournament last weekend. Eli Thomas finished fourth in the regional and qualified for the State tournament that took place this past week. Hayden Price and Jovany Pozo finished one win away from qualifying for States, while Worth Martin, Armando Velasquez, and Chase Farmer competed in the Regional tournament as well.

will not be taking a group senior trip. 
Seniors may arrange their own college visit, and provide documentation of the visit, which will be an excused absence. 
Seniors who report to school on

will meet in the auditorium at 8:15 and break into homeroom activity groups following a short presentation on the morning of the ACT.
