Wednesday Announcements

CLUBS
HOSA
There will be a HOSA meeting tomorrow Thursday, April 6th in Mrs Sloan's room 520E after school. We will have Jamie Dodge from the Yadkin County Rescue Squad as a guest speaker.
The American Red Cross offers scholarships for those HOSA members who actively participate in school blood drives. Applications are available form Mrs Sloan and are due to Mrs Sloan on April 12.

DECA

JR. CIVITAN
The next Junior Civitan meeting will be tomorrow Thursday, April 6th, at 7:35am in 604G. All members please plan to attend.

FFA
Today is the last day to donate your change or dollar bills to see one of your teachers kiss a cow or pig. All the money you donate will go to help the farmers & ranchers in Texas, Kansas & Oklahoma who were impacted by the wildfires a month ago. Thank you to everyone who has participated so far!

SERVICE HOURS
Community Service Hours should be turned in to Ms. Elmore in 204B by May 1st. Seniors need 200 hours to be recognized at Awards Day.

INTERNSHIP
Internship Applications for next year are due TODAY Wednesday, April 5th.

CHEERLEADING
There will be a team meeting for all returning varsity competitive cheerleaders on Monday, April 10th at the end of first period. All returning varsity competitive cheerleaders, please report to room 813J during break for the meeting.

WRESTLING
Open mats for wrestling will start this Thursday at 6:30 pm in the field house.  
Please see coach Farmer, in 803 J for more details.  
We will meet every Tuesday and Thursday.  
Anyone interested in wrestling may come.

WOMEN'S TENNIS
Any lady interested in playing tennis this fall, don't forget that open court sign-ups are on Coach Vestal's door in 604G. Open Courts this Saturday, April 8th, run from 12:30-2pm.

SPRING BREAK
April 13th-April 21st.

BLOOD DRIVE
Our Spring Blood Drive will be Friday 4/28. If you would like to sign up to donate blood students will be available during lunches or you may see Mrs. Sloan. Students who donate in the Spring will receive free T-shirts from the Red Cross. Students 16 years old will need a consent form. All donors will need an ID.
If you are a HOSA member and would like to volunteer to work the blood drive or sign students up during lunch please see Mrs. Sloan. A signup sheet will be posted on Mrs. Sloan's door.

GOLF TOURNAMENT
The Forbush Band Golf Tournament will be held at the Yadkin Country Club on May 13th. Cost is $200 per team of 4 players. Lunch will begin at noon and play begins at 2:00. Registration forms are available in the office and all proceeds will support the Forbush High School and Middle School Band program.

SPRING MUSICAL
Tickets for Forbush High School's Production of Seussical Jr. are now on sale! Seussical is a musical about Dr. Seuss' most beloved characters!
Performances will be Friday, May 12th & Saturday, May 13th at 7:00pm.
Tickets are $10.
