Monday Announcements

CLUBS
HOSA
There will be a HOSA meeting this Thursday, April 6th in Mrs Sloan's room in 520E after school. We will have Jamie Dodge from the Yadkin County Rescue Squad as a guest speaker.

Congratulations to our HOSA members and adviser, Mrs. Sloan. 
Our Forbush HOSA club was recognized at the state convention for their work with various blood drives and vision screenings. The organization was also recognized as a Gold Star Chapter and Mrs. Sloan was recognized as a Gold Star Adviser. 

DECA
As of today,  April 3rd, C & H Cafe will be open to ONLINE ORDERS only

JR. CIVITAN
The next Junior Civitan meeting will be this Thursday, April 6th, at 7:35am in 604G.
All members please plan to attend.

FFA 
This afternoon is AG Olympics. 
Come to Mrs. Jensen's room after school. 
We will not be competing outside.
Wednesday is the last day for donations for your favorite teacher to kiss a cow or pig. Make sure to donate your spare change! 
The winner will be announced on Friday at break!

SERVICE HOURS
Community Service Hours should be turned in to Ms. Elmore in 204B by May 1st. Seniors need 200 hours to be recognized at Awards Day.

INTERNSHIP
Internship Applications for next year are due no later than Wednesday, April 5th. Please give applications to Mrs. Gentry in the office,

SPORTS
WRESTLING
Open mats for wrestling will start this Thursday at 6:30 pm in the field house.  
Please see coach Farmer, in 803 J for more details.  
We will meet every Tuesday and Thursday.  
Anyone interested in wrestling may come.

WOMEN'S TENNIS
Any lady interested in playing tennis this fall, don't forget that open court sign-ups are on Coach Vestal's door in 604G. Open Courts this Saturday, April 8th, run from 12:30-2pm.

EVENTS
​GOLF TOURNAMENT​
The Forbush Band Golf Tournament will be held at the Yadkin Country Club on May 13th. Cost is $200 per team of 4 players. Lunch will begin at noon and play begins at 2:00. Registration forms are available in the office and all proceeds will support the Forbush High School and Middle School Band program.

SPRING BREAK
April 13th-April 21st.

BLOOD DRIVE
Forbush High School will host a Blood Drive on Friday, April 28th, in the FHS gymnasium.
