Thursday Announcements

SENIORS
If you are a Senior and have been accepted at one or more colleges or
community colleges PLEASE bring your college acceptance letter to the
School Counseling
office.We would like to recognize your accomplishments!

GUIDANCE
Any student interesting in Credit by Demonstrated Mastery,
applications are due to the school counseling office by January 25th.
If you have any questions please check the Credit Demonstrated Mastery
Wikispaces found on Yadkin County School's Website under student
logins, Credit by Demonstrated Mastery or come visit the School
Counseling office.

HOSA
There will be a HOSA meeting Thursday, January 5th after school in
Mrs. Sloan's room. We will discuss T shirt orders, State Conference
and work on out local service project.
There will be a required parent meeting on Thursday, January 12th at
6:00 pm in Mrs. Sloan room for all of this attending state conference.

INTERNSHIPS
Mrs. Reavis' 2nd semester interns will meet during their scheduled
internship time on January 19th. Check your student emails and bring
your permission forms.

JV BASEBALL
Any 9th or 10th grader interested in trying out for JV baseball needs
to come Friday during break for a mandatory meeting in 408D - Coach
Moss' Room.

HUNTER SAFETY
Hunter Safety Practice will be Friday, January 6th immediately after
school. If any questions, please see Mr. Cave.

EXAM SCHEDULE
Our exams are scheduled for next week January 9th-13th.
The exam schedule is on our FHS website.
Please check with your teachers if you have any questions regarding
next weeks exams.

ATTENDANCE APPEAL FORMS
Attendance Appeal Forms can be picked up in the Pass Room, after 1:30
this Friday, January 6th. Any student who has more than 8 unexcused
absences will be required to complete this form and return it to the
office by Friday January, 13th.
