Monday Announcements

CLASS OF  2017

MEDIA CENTER
Any senior who had Mr. Beuter first semester - please return your copy of the Book Thief to the library as soon as you are able.

FFA
FFA will have a meeting on Thursday after school in 518E. All members need to attend.

HOSA
HOSA will be collecting Ban-Aids for Brenner's for the next 2 weeks during fourth period.  Please bring in new unopened boxes of character Band Aids, such as Frozen, Cars, Snoopy, Minions etc.We will have two collection days, Friday 1/27 and Friday 2/3.

The overall winner fourth period will receive a cupcake and popcorn party.

TENNIS
Any students interested in playing men's tennis this Spring need to meet in Coach Tuck's room 805J during break tomorrow Tuesday, January 24th.

TRACK
Anyone interested in running track this year please stop by and pick up a paper from Coach Beuter, Coach Hoots, Coach Sikes, or Coach Doby.

SKILLS
Skills Meetings this Thursday January 26th (One at Break and One after School) You need to attend one of these meetings if you are going to compete at Regional.
RJR will be presenting at our after school meeting about tobacco cessation. All students, teachers, and parents are welcome to attend this meeting. It will only last approximately 15 minutes. If you are a Skills member and you recruit 3 or more people to attend this meeting, you will receive service hours.
Regional competition fee money is due February 3rd. If you are competing, please come by and see Mr. Senter before school, during break, or after school to sign up and pay your fees before the deadline. If you went to Camp Dixie in September, the remaining $25.00 is due by February 3rd also.

SWIM TEAM
Congratulations to the men's swim team for finishing third and the women's swim team for finishing first at the conference championship. All members had a great meet.
Conference champions were:
Sarah Hayden (four golds)
Sierra Winters (four golds)
Samantha Wooten (four golds)
Gina Myers (three golds)
Jamie Beamguard (two golds)
Jacob Kepley (two golds)
Hunter Kepley (two golds)
Tyler Sprague (one gold)
In addition to these members earning All-Conference, Emily and Kaitlin Post, Lauren Holowiti, and Suzie Beamguard were also All-Conference.
Samantha Wooten was awarded Conference Player of the Year.
If you see any of the members of the swim team, please congratulate them on their great performance!

LUNCHROOM CHARGES
Beginning today, January 23rd students who have charged more than $5 on their breakfast/lunch account will be required to come to the office during their breakfast/ lunch to pick up a Meal Pass Ticket. These tickets must be presented at the checkout register in the lunch room in order to receive a meal.
