If you are a Senior and have been accepted at one or more colleges
PLEASE bring your college acceptance letter to the School Counseling
office.We would like to recognize your accomplishments!
SENIOR ADS
Online senior ad and payment is due December 16th. Please see the FHS
website yearbook page (under the student tab) for all the information.
HOSA
Dinning attraction guide books are here. If you sold books, please
come by Mrs. Sloan's your order is ready.
FMS will be hosting a blood drive tomorrow form 1:00pm-6:00pm. If you
are senior and will be unable to donate during the FHS Blood drive at
the end of April or you need another donation for a total of three
donations, you may donate at the FMS blood drive and that will count
towards your red cord for graduation. If you have questions please see
Mrs Sloan.
All members attending district HOSA Competition should be at school
by 7:15 on Saturday 12/10. You should be dressed in proper HOSA
attire. IF you are competing that day please review your guidelines
for competition and be prepared to bring the required materials. If
you have questions please see Mrs Sloan.
FINANCIAL AID
Forbush High School will have a Spanish Version of the Financial Aid
Workshop on December 5th.
Times: 1:30 pm and 6:00 pm
Where: Room 230B .
Parents and students are encouraged to attend. 9th -12th welcomed.
BAND
The Forbush High School Band will present their winter Band Concert on
Monday, December 12th, beginning at 7pm in the auditorium.
CHORUS
The Forbush High School Chorus will present their winter Chorus
Concert on Thursday, December 15th, beginning at 7pm in the
auditorium.
Please come out and support our Band and Chorus programs!
ART WINNER
Congratulations to Brittany Calloway on winning the Yadkin County
Holiday Card Contest. Brittany will be recognized at our next School
Board Meeting.
ANGEL TREE
All Angel Tree gifts are due tomorrow December 6th.
Please bring unwrapped Angel Tree gifts to Mrs. Gentry in the office.
Be sure the paper ornament is taped securely to your gift.
Students who shop will receive 2 hours of community service.
We are missing 24 gifts!
Please return the paper ornament to the office if you can't shop for the gift.
We still have time to do some last minute shopping and hopefully fill all our
Angels request.
