Thursday Announcements

CLUBS
HOSA
HOSA is sponsoring a Christmas Sock collection for Crossnore School and Children's Home in Winston. There are 26 children from ages 1-18 in need of Christmas socks. Please take the time to bring in socks for the kids who are not as fortunate as we are. There will be a box in the lobby  and students will be available  during lunches to accept your donations. All students who bring in a pair of socks will receive a blow pop as a thank you. The drive will end

December 15th.

FFA
The Forbush High School FFA will be holding a meeting Friday the 15th at 7:45 am in 518 E.

DECA
All DECA members come by 303C tomorrow morning to celebrate a very successful 1st semester!  See you in the morning at 7:45!

FCCLA
Attention all FCCLA members!!! We will be having our Annual Christmas Party TONIGHT at PAPA'S PIZZA in Yadkinville @ 7:00!!!! Come dressed in your tackiest Christmas sweater and bring a $10 gift for Dirty Santa! Contact Mrs. Saddler with any questions. 

JROTC
Congratulations to the JROTC Rifle Team for winning the Ivan J. Rowe Memorial Rifle Match hosted by Fred T. Foard High School. Forbush had three teams competing and placed 1st, 15th, and 16th out of 63 teams.
1st Place Team:
Brady Carter
Mason Hester
Chris Gieger
John Collins

Brady Carter was also the competitions top overall firer, top prone position firer and placed 2nd in the standing position out of 250 competitors..

Mason Hester was 2nd in the kneeling position.

Clay Spann placed third in the new firer prone position.

MUSIC
BAND CONCERT
The Forbush High School Band will present their Winter Concert 
​tonight ​
Thursday, December 14th. This concert will begin at 7pm at the Yadkin Arts Council.

YEARBOOK
Seniors, don't forget… Senior Ads for the yearbook are due December 22nd. For more information, please visit the Forbush website yearbook page under the "Students" tab.

EXAMS
Exams are scheduled for next week December 18th - 22nd. Visit our FHS Home page to download the exam schedule. Please ask your teachers if you have any questions.
