There will be a HOSA meeting on Thursday April 6th in Mrs Sloan's room in 520 E after school. We will have Jamie Dodge from the Yadkin County Rescue Squad as a guest speaker.

DECA
C & H Cafe starting immediately-
Only orders placed on Google forms by 1:15 will be filled each day.  
The Google form has been shared with every FHS student.Thanks!
Students are not allowed to come to 303C to place their orders.

JR. CIVITAN
Attention Senior Junior Civitan members: the school and district scholarship applications are due by TODAY, March 31st at the end of the school day to Coach Vestal. No applications will be accepted after today's deadline. Make sure your applications are completed and turned in by this afternoon.

SPORTS
WRESTLING
Open mats for wrestling will start next Thursday at 6:30 pm in the field house.  
Please see coach Farmer, in 803 J for more details.  
We will meet every Tuesday and Thursday.  
Anyone interested in wrestling may come.

BASEBALL
The Baseball game schedule at South Stokes has been moved to Wednesday April 5th.  JV at 4:30 & Varsity at  7:00.
The West Davidson game will be moved to a later date. TBD
JV's will NOT practice today.  Bring clothes to practice inside or out on Monday.
Varsity will briefly meet in 408D building after school, then be released.

Play "Spin the Bottle"....Baby bottle that is, for March of Dimes!  
Bring a dollar to "Spin the Baby Bottle"  lunch today Friday, March 31st.
Everyone is a winner- prizes will vary.

Also, help support March of Dimes by purchasing a cup cake during 4th period today.

Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd & 3rd place, "Closest to the Pin" & "Long Drive".

Forbush Elementary School will host a Blood Drive today March 27th, from 1pm to 6pm. The Blood Drive will be held in memory of Marshall Baker. You can register for the Blood Drive online through the American Red Cross or you can call FES  to

JROTC
Congratulations to the Falcon Battalion Drill Team and Raider Team that both competed this past weekend.
  The Drill Team placed 2nd overall at the West Iredell drill meet. The team placed 1st in Individual with arms; 1st in duet with arms; 2nd in color guard; 2nd in platoon with arms; 2nd in squad without arms; and 2nd in LET I squad without arms.
  The Raider Team competed in the VA State Raider Meet at Magna Vista High School with schools from both Virginia and NC. The B team placed 4th overall in the 5 events; 2nd in the litter carry; 3rd in the obstacle relay; and 5th in the 5k run.
   Congratulations to both teams!

The FHS/FMS Band Golf Tournament will be held at the Yadkin Country Club on May 13th. Cost is $200 per team of 4 players, ($50 per player.)

Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd & 3rd place, "Closest to the Pin" & "Long Drive"

SCIENCE OLYMPIAD
Students from Forbush High School participated last week at Regional  Science Olympiad Competition at Wake Forest University.
Please Congratulate the following competitors.
Sierra Winters and Suzie Beamguard were First Place Winners in the Ecology Event and Third Place Winners in the Rocks and Minerals Event.
Hunter Kepley and Zach Murray were Third Place Winners in the Towers Event.
Danielle Barber and Jacob Brendle were Third Place Winners in the Anatomy and Physiology Event.
Jamie Beamguard and Nick Marshall competed in the Duck Tape Challenge Event and Write It do It Event.
In addition Sierra Winters and Suzie Beamguard qualified to compete at the State Level at North Carolina State Universtiy.
Congratulations to all these students representing Forbush High School.
